Review Policy

Z&H LawnCare & Construction LLC · zhillinoisconstruction.com

Z&H LawnCare & Construction LLC may allow customers or website users to submit reviews, testimonials, photographs, comments, feedback, or other content ("User Content"). This Policy establishes standards intended to maintain an authentic, useful, respectful, and lawful review environment.

1. Genuine Experiences

By submitting a review, the submitter makes the following representations. Z&H does not knowingly publish fabricated customer testimonials as genuine customer reviews.

  • the review concerns a genuine experience;
  • the statements reflect the submitter’s honest opinion;
  • material factual statements are believed to be truthful;
  • the submitter is not impersonating another person;
  • the content does not knowingly violate another person’s rights; and
  • the submitter has authority to provide any photographs or other materials included with the submission.

2. Prohibited Content

Submissions may be rejected or removed if they contain content reasonably believed to be prohibited.

  • knowingly false or fraudulent;
  • defamatory or unlawfully threatening;
  • obscene, discriminatory or hateful;
  • unrelated spam or impersonation;
  • malicious code or suspicious links;
  • personally identifying information belonging to another person without authorization;
  • copyrighted material the submitter has no right to provide;
  • advertising unrelated to the review;
  • unlawful content; or
  • content otherwise inappropriate for the Company’s website.

3. Moderation

Submission does not guarantee publication. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Z&H reserves the right to review, moderate, approve, reject, decline to publish, archive, or remove User Content.

Z&H may make minimal edits for spelling, formatting, length, or clarity provided such editing does not materially change the substance or sentiment of the review. The Company should not manipulate reviews in a manner that falsely represents customer sentiment or creates a misleading overall impression.

4. Negative Reviews

A review should not be rejected solely because it contains legitimate criticism. Z&H may choose to contact a reviewer to better understand or attempt to resolve an issue.

The Company nevertheless retains the right to enforce this Policy against prohibited content regardless of whether the submission is positive or negative.

5. Permission to Publish

By submitting User Content specifically for review, testimonial, portfolio, or public-display purposes, the submitter grants Z&H a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, display, format, and publish the submitted content in connection with the Company’s website and legitimate business marketing, subject to applicable law.

The submitter retains ownership of the submitter’s original content. Additional consent should be obtained where legally required for identifiable persons, private-property information, or other protected material.

6. Photographs

A person submitting a photograph represents that the person has the right to submit it. Users should not submit photographs containing individuals who have not consented to publication, confidential information, license plates, addresses, or other sensitive information unless publication is lawful and authorized.

7. No Compensation Unless Disclosed

If Z&H ever provides compensation, discounts, free services, sweepstakes entries, or another material incentive in connection with a testimonial or review, the Company should ensure that any legally required disclosure is made.

8. Third-Party Review Platforms

Reviews displayed or linked from third-party platforms remain subject to those platforms’ policies. Z&H does not control whether a third-party platform removes, ranks, filters, or displays a particular review.

9. Reporting Content

A person who believes User Content violates this Policy or the person’s rights may contact Zhllc42@gmail.com. The Company may investigate and take appropriate action but does not guarantee a particular outcome.

10. Removal

Z&H may remove previously published User Content when reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy, comply with law, address rights claims, protect privacy or security, correct technical problems, or maintain the website.

11. Changes

Z&H may update this Policy prospectively as website functionality, business practices, or legal requirements change.
