Estimate Disclaimer

Z&H LawnCare & Construction LLC · zhillinoisconstruction.com

Estimate, Quote and Service Disclaimer for Z&H LawnCare & Construction LLC.

1. Estimate Requests Are Not Contracts

A request for an estimate, whether submitted through the website, telephone, email, WhatsApp, social media, or another channel, is a request for information only.

Submission does not create a contract, guarantee an appointment, reserve a project date, establish a final price, or obligate Z&H LawnCare & Construction LLC to perform work.

2. Preliminary Information

Prices or ranges discussed before a complete project evaluation may be preliminary. Photographs, videos, measurements, or descriptions supplied remotely may assist Z&H in evaluating an inquiry but may not reveal all conditions affecting the project.

3. Site Inspection

Where appropriate, a site visit may be required before a reliable scope or price can be established. Conditions discovered during an inspection or after work begins may materially affect the project.

4. Price Changes

Subject to the applicable written agreement and law, project pricing may be affected by the following factors. Z&H should communicate material changes in accordance with the applicable agreement.

  • actual measurements and customer-requested changes;
  • additional labor, materials, delivery charges or disposal requirements;
  • material price fluctuations or supplier changes;
  • equipment needs, access limitations or excavation;
  • soil, drainage, root or underground conditions;
  • concealed deterioration or structural conditions;
  • code or permit requirements; and
  • other previously unknown conditions.

5. Hidden and Unforeseen Conditions

Z&H cannot guarantee that all concealed conditions will be discovered before work begins. Underground utilities, buried objects, roots, drainage problems, unstable soils, concealed damage, deterioration, previous construction defects, hidden plumbing or electrical components, moisture, and similar conditions may require additional evaluation or changes.

6. Materials

Material availability and pricing may change. Natural and manufactured materials may have variations in color, texture, shade, dimensions, finish, grain, pattern, or appearance.

Website photographs and samples may not reproduce colors exactly because of lighting, screens, manufacturing batches, and natural variation.

7. Weather

Weather can materially affect outdoor construction and landscaping. Schedules may change because of rain, snow, storms, frozen ground, saturated soil, temperature, wind, safety conditions, or other weather-related factors.

Estimated dates should not be interpreted as guaranteed completion dates unless expressly stated as such in a written contract.

8. Suppliers and Third Parties

Z&H cannot guarantee the performance or delivery schedules of independent manufacturers, suppliers, utilities, governmental agencies, inspectors, or other parties outside the Company’s reasonable control. Third-party delays may affect project scheduling.

9. Permits and Approvals

Permit and approval requirements differ by municipality and project. Nothing stated during an estimate request should be interpreted as confirmation that no permit, inspection, survey, utility location, association approval, engineering review, or governmental authorization is required.

Project-specific responsibility should be stated in the written agreement.

10. Customer Selections

Customers should carefully review materials, dimensions, colors, patterns, finishes, layouts, and project specifications before approving them. Changes after approval may require additional labor, materials, time, or cost.

11. Existing Conditions and Damage

Existing cracks, settlement, deterioration, drainage problems, damaged landscaping, structures, utilities, pavement, concrete, or other preexisting property conditions should be documented where appropriate.

This Disclaimer does not release Z&H from responsibility imposed by law for damage actually caused by the Company.

12. No Guaranteed Outcome from Images

Concept images, previous-project photographs, before-and-after examples, renderings, inspiration photographs, samples, and manufacturer images are illustrative. Actual results depend on property conditions, materials, workmanship requirements, customer selections, and other project-specific factors.

13. Written Agreement Controls

If an executed written contract, proposal, work order, or change order conflicts with general information appearing on this website, the applicable executed project document should control to the extent legally enforceable.

14. Warranty Information

No website statement should be interpreted as creating a warranty beyond warranties expressly provided in an applicable written agreement or required by law.
